BiographyHistory

Pamela Hart spent her early life living close to the Coen Police Station where her father worked as an Aboriginal Tracker. After her mother died at the age of thirty, Pamela was sent to Hopevale to live. She attended Hopevale School until she was 12 years old and she was sent to Brisbane to work as a domestic and farm hand. Pamela returned to Hopevale and worked as a housekeeper until she married at age 16. Later in life Pamela moved to Mossman and in 2001 began working on her family history while attending Douglas Technical and Further Education College in the Mossman area. Hart is the sister of Loretta Spratt
