The author will arrive in April for a US tour in support of The Battle for Skandia (Philomel, Apr.), fourth in the series. Ranger's Apprentice has just been optioned by United Artists Films, with Oscar-winner Paul Haggis slated to direct. Flanagan is interviewed here by James Bickers.
