Molly Gore was born on Turner Creek Station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Her father was a white stockman on the station and her mother was a woman named Jeannie who belonged to the Jaree people. Molly Gore was removed from her parents and taken to Mulla Bulla. She never saw her parents again. Growing up in Mulla Bulla, Molly met Hilton Gore when she was 20 and they were married in Halls Creek by Sergeant Weaver.
