BiographyHistory

John Watson was a printer and engineer who migrated to Brisbane from Scotland in 1868 and together with James Ferguson, established the printing and publishing firm Watson Ferguson. Watson and his wife died when the RMS Quetta sank in Torres Strait in 1890.
