BiographyHistory

Peggy Patrick is an artist, Storyteller, dancer, singer and Elder who belongs to the Kija people. She was the sister of Kamaliny Palmentarri, also known as Tim Timms and is the custodian of cultural knowledge given to her by her brother before he passed on.
One of the ceremonies Peggy Patrick is responsible for is known as the Fire, Fire, Burning Bright ceremony that tells the story of the massacres that took place in the Kimberley region of Western Australia upon the Kija and Worla people during World War I.
