BiographyHistory

Winnie Budbaria was born at Turkey Creek where her community, Warmun, is located. Warmun is in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Winnie Budbaria 'emerged as the Kija people's own missionary having become a Catholic during her stay in the Derby Leprosarium.'
