Frank Trigg's father was a German surveyor-general named Frank Hann and his mother was an Aboriginal woman from Queensland. Frank moved to Carnarvon in 1916 and married a woman named Edie Clinch. After they separated, Frank married a woman named Elsie Poland and had four children.
