BiographyHistory

In 1986, Dolly Bidgiemia was understood to be 115 years of age; others had believed her age was closer to 124 years of age. Dolly Bidgiemia worked on Dairy Creek Station, Dalgety Station and Glenburg Station when she was young. Dolly had a daughter named Kitty who passed away at 73 years of age. Dolly Bidgiemia is known as nanna by many and has taken care of approximately thirty neglected children over the years. She had also been a midwife for many years helping to deliver babies throughout the Gascoyne area. Dolly was baptised when she was 109 years old. She was able to read nature and could tell people when it was going to rain.
