BiographyHistory

Helicopter Tjungarrayi is a Kukatja artist with extensive knowledge of traditional medicines and is the brother of Charlie Wallabi Tjungarrayi (q.v.). Helicopter Tjungarrayi was given his name from a childhood experience that almost claimed his life. He became serieously ill and was given medical treatment after being collected by the flying doctor service.
