BiographyHistory

Mike Nock is a jazz musician and composer. He moved from Auckland to Sydney at age 18 and formed the group The Three Out Trio, which in 1961 toured England. In the early sixties, Nock moved to the United States, formed the group The Fourth Way, and recorded and performed with many American jazz musicians. Nock returned to Australia in 1985. In Sydney, he has taught at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
