BiographyHistory

Seth Dodd is an Elder of Enfield. He was born at Raukkan, then known as Point McLeay Mission, and lived there until 1955. Dodd married Nina Williams of Point Pearce and they raised their family at Point McLeay before moving to Naracoorte because of conflict with the Mission's Superintendent. In Naracoorte, Dodd obtained an exemption which meant that he and his family could move around without the restrictions normally placed on Indigenous people at that time.
