BiographyHistory

Claude Love is a Murray Bridge Elder. He was born at Raukkan, formerly known as Point McLeay mission, in South Australia. His father, Claude, came from the Murray Bridge area, and his mother, Agnes Lampard Young, came from the Coorong area. Love moved with his family from Raukkan to Murray Bridge when he was a child. Love lived with his wife, Connie Love, at Wellington before moving back to Murray Bridge where his children experienced more racism than they had at Wellington.
