Based on the non-fiction book Brothers in Arms by Lindsay Simpson and Sandra Harvey, Bikie Wars is a dramatised account of the events leading up the 1984 Milperra massacre, a shoot-out between members of the outlaw motorcycle gang the Comancheros and the Bandidos, a group formed from a splinter group of former Comancheros: the massacre left 7 people dead and 28 wounded, and led to 63 murder convictions, 147 manslaughter convictions, and significant changes to NSW gun laws.

'The Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher has been chosen to refine a group of delinquent flower maidens for the annual flower parade. When the body of one of her charges washes up on the beach, though, she begins to question the worth of table manners and dancing lessons. A six-part crime series focusing on the character Carla Cametti, a determined private detective. While she has the looks and street smarts to get what she wants, she also has a personal life that's rife with danger, from a family riddled with gangsters to her volatile relationship with Detective Luciano Gandolfi, a policeman seconded to curb Melbourne's burgeoning gangland activity.

Silversun follows the journey of the titular spacecraft, two years into a ninety-year journey to a distant, Earth-like planet, intended for colonisation. The colonists are in cryogenic status, and the ship's crew is largely teenagers, who will take over the primary roles as the adult crew ages.

The program's focus was a combination of the coming-of-age/interpersonal relationship storylines typical of a teenage show and the type of ethical dilemmas common to science-fiction story-telling. Among the latter were such issues as whether or not a crew member's clone was human, and what effect long-distance interstellar travel would have on the human mind and emotions.

Season two of the program ended on a cliffhanger, and no plans have been made to revive the program.
