BiographyHistory

Lara Morgan is a first-generation Australian of Bermudian and Croatian descent. She grew up in the towns of Mount Helena and Chidlow, near Perth, WA. She has an Arts degree from the University of Western Australia. Morgan won the Australian Women's Weekly Short Story competition in 2004 and the following year she had a short story published under the alternative writing name Lara Martin, see Girl's Night In 4 (2005). In 2011, she was living in Geraldton, WA.
