BiographyHistory

"Graduating from the Ensemble Studios in Sydney, Sue Hayest ravelled for two years with a Troubadour Poetry troupe. Sue has performed, co-written and devised various physical theatrical pieces including 'Women on Wings', 'Ode to Mums', and 'Kitchen Kaos'. Her JUTE performances include 'Love Child', 'Demolition, Pile Driving, Hard hats and Donkey Dick', 'Digging In' and 'Kabaret Kamikaze'. Sue played various roles in box office hit of 'Animal Farm', seen on the JUTE stage in 2007. Sue's other passion is the environment and she was chosen from 1700 people to be an ambassador for Al Gore's climate change project. Her latest project, 'Gods of Spicy Things - A Divine Comedy', was born out of two years of JUTE's Enter Stage Write program. This is her first full-length play which she is enjoying both roles as actor and playwright and working with the creative team."
