BiographyHistory

Frances Bodkin is a senior knowledgeholder in the D'harawal Community. She has worked with the education unit at the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens teaching D'harawal culture, and with the Department of Education and TAFE teaching D'harawal language. She holds a doctorate in Indigenous Medicines and is the author of Encyclopaedia Botanica: The Essential Reference Guide to Native and Exotic Plants in Australia (Angus & Robertson, 1986).
