BiographyHistory

Amy Schoonens (nee Cross) is a researcher administrator with an interest in children's and young adult literature. She has worked on numerous children's literature research projects at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), including: Children's Literature Digital ResourcesAsian-Australian Children's Literature and Publishing, Children's Literature and the Environment, and award-winning Australian children's literature.

Amy has also worked at the Digital Media Research Centre, QUT and the Children and Youth Research Centre (QUT). She completed a Master of Arts (Children's Literature) at Macquarie University in 2009, and worked at AustLit (The University of Queensland), from 2018-2020.

In 2020, Amy began a PhD at Queensland University of Technology, and volunteers at AustLit.
