BiographyHistory

Kenneth Stagg is a member of the Stolen Generations. In 1961, Stagg was removed from his family along with his siblings and cousins to Retta Dixon Home in Darwin. He was then released into his uncle's care in 1971. Stagg has worked as a freelance journalist and in radio Wangki.

Stagg's story was recorded by the National Library of Australia for the Bringing Them Home oral history project and appeared in the associated publication Many Voices: Reflections on experiences of Indigenous child separation, edited by Doreen Mellor and Anna Haebich (2002).
