BiographyHistory

Apart from writing, directing and producing youth theatre, Pascoe has been Director of the Black Swan Theatre Company, Chair of the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company, President of Drama Australia, Board Member of the National (Australian) Affiliation of Arts Educators and Secretary, General Meetings, International Drama/Theatre and Education Association. He wrote the drama part of the National Arts Curriculum Statement in 1991, the arts section of the curriculum framework for the Curriculum Council of W.A. in 1998, and has been chief examiner for Year 12 Drama Studies in W.A. He wrote the reference work Drama and theatre: key terms and concepts (2003) and many academic articles on Arts education and teaching, reflecting his role as Senior Lecturer, School of Education, Murdoch University. He co-authored musical theatre for youth with his wife Liz.
