BiographyHistory

Granny Bonn was born in Bowraville in 1930. Her father was Eric Davis and her mother was Elva Monaro both from the Nambucca Valley. Granny Bonn used to help her grandfather make cane baskets to sell. They would use native cane, a vine, which had to be stretched and stripped before being woven.
