BiographyHistory

Born in 1937 at Nurse Lovelock's Hospital at Port Kembla, Rita Timbery-Bennett lived at Hill 60 until the 1940s. Her father was Charley Timbery and her mother was Madge Brown. The family was moved off the Hill when the army took over the land during the Second World War. They were moved to the Official Camps, now known as Coomaditchie.
