BiographyHistory

Supit graduated from the University of Sydney as a languages teacher. She taught Latin, French and Indonesian in various Sydney secondary schools, as well as teaching EFL in Jakarta. At the NSW Open Training and Education Network she led a team in designing and producing language materials for distance education students. Supit moved to Moree to head a team of curriculum and training & development consultants in the northwest of NSW. While there she was chosen to work in the UN Transitional Administration in East Timor. After this she worked in an education project for AusAID in East Java. On her return from working with UNESCO Jakarta, Supit completed a PhD on the rehabilitation of the education sector in East Timor at the University of Sydney as well as developing learning materials for a new national Indonesian syllabus. Supit also has a M.Ed. (University of Sydney) and M.Ed.Admin. (UNSW). In 2019, Trina was converting her dissertation into a book.
