BiographyHistory

Reema Sarwal has undertaken PhD studies in Contemporary Australian Fantasy Fiction at the Centre for English Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.

Saral has been a lecturer at the Department of English, Miranda House, University of Delhi, and has tutored at SECPS, Monash University. From 2006-2007 she was also an Honorary Visiting Scholar at School of English, Communication and Performance Studies, Monash University.

Sarwal's areas of interest include Contemporary Australian Literature, Popular Fiction and African Literature. She co-edited Fact & Fiction: Readings in Australian Literature (2008), Creative Nation: Australian Cinema and Cultural Studies Reader (2009) and Reading Down Under: Australian Literary Studies Reader (2009) with Amit Sarwal, and has worked as annotator for the online Routledge Annotated Bibliography of English Studies.
