BiographyHistory

As young boys Alfie Gerrard and his brother Dick were removed from their parents and sent to live at Moola Bulla Station. Their parents came to visit on occasions until Gerrard and his brother were finally able to return home at Forrest River Mission in 1941. Gerrard was given the opportunity to go to Perth to further his education which he eagerly accepted but was instead sent to work as slave labour for a couple on a farm at Merredin and never enrolled in a school.
