BiographyHistory

McGrath grew up in Gisborne on the east coast of New Zealand. He has worked as an open-space planner with the City of Whitehorse in Melbourne where he has lived since 1996. In 2004 McGrath won the Greater Dandenong Writing Prize for his story 'A Year Among Savages'.
