Jacob Stengle spent much of his childhood in Colebrook Children's Home at Eden Hills and later lived at Raukkan where he made connections with his Ngarrindjeri culture, ancestral country and stories. He has had several art exhibitions in South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia and his art work has been reproduced in several publications.
