BiographyHistory

In 1881, Kitty Brangy wrote several letters to her sister Edith Brangy. These letters demonstrate the strength of Indigenous family and kinship ties at a time when the Australian Government was systematically trying to break them down. The letters are now kept at the Board for Protection of Aborigines Archives at the National Archives of Australia (NAA: B313/1, item 42).
