BiographyHistory

Joyce Summers was born a member of the Bekue-Morgan family on Eukrebah Island, Tweed Heads. An artist, Joyce has taught art in local schools and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) colleges for many years. She has been president of the Gold Coast Aboriginal Corporation for Women and secretary of the Gold Coast Aboriginal Arts and Crafts Corporation.
