BiographyHistory

George Athanasiou was born in Melbourne in 1966 and grew up in Yarraville. He completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Melbourne in 1989. He has since completed a Bachelor of Educational Studies and a Masters in Education also at the University of Melbourne and has undertaken a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing at Victoria University. Athanasiou has also been involved in many Greek community organisations.
