BiographyHistory

Anna Gladkova was born and educated in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod. She gained a BA in English Philology and Teaching English as a Second Language (1996) and an MA in Linguistics (2003) from the Nizhny Novgorod Linguistic University. She has also taught at the Nizhny Novgorod University. Gladkova was a visiting scholar at the Australian National University in 2002 and returned to the ANU in 2004 to take up doctoral studies.
