BiographyHistory

Rebecca McNaboe is from the Wiradjuri Nation, Willay (possum) mob. She has worked with the Janggara Aboriginal Dance Company, mainly in the art area. 'Rebecca has been the owner of a gallery in Dubbo, Kangarra Aboriginal Art Centre and began her artistic career burning designs into mulga wood boomerangs and painting didgeridoos; clap sticks and canvases for Jedda Boomerangs. The gallery sells art and handicrafts from the Jedda workshop, as well as her work and that of local artists. She has also taught painting and cultural history to Aboriginal children.'
