BiographyHistory

An accident at birth resulted in Anne McDonald having severe cerebral palsy. McDonald became part of an education literacy project set up by Rosemary Crossley (q.v.) and, through the project, learnt to use a facilitated communication system. This ability brought her increased freedom (and fame) for the remainder of her life.
