BiographyHistory

'Associate Professor Paula Hamilton taught in the public history program at the University of Technology, Sydney. She has conducted consultancies and research with museums, including Powerhouse, Australian Museum and National Museum of Australia and has strong links with the oral history community, indicative of her long-term interest in cultural memory, particularly collective remembering through oral narratives.

Hamilton is also Co-Director of the Australian Centre for Public History (with Paul Ashton), and, a member of the Key University Centre in Communication and Culture, Transforming Cultures'. Source: http://www.uts.edu.au/ (Sighted 09/06/2009).
