BiographyHistory

Albert Booth Taylor was Professor of English at the University of Tasmania from 1926 until his retirement in February 1956. He was educated in New Zealand and won a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford where he gained first class honours in both English Language and Literature. Taylor lectured at the Universities of Leeds and Durham before taking up his position in Tasmania.
