A speculative fiction writer who has lived for a number of years in the central Queensland toen of Gladstone, Jennifer Jarman moved from England to New Zealand when she was nine. Three years later they relocated to Australia. After graduating from Calrossy Anglican School in 2009, Jarman spent a gap-year working as a Worship Coordinator for the Tamworth Lutheran church, then completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of New England, Armidale (2011-2013), followed by an Honours degree in Theatre (2014). She then moved with her family to Gladstone.
