Michelle Finneran is an Early Childhood Teacher with over twenty years experience. During her career she had been a Director and teacher in various early childhood services. In 2011, Finneran became a Research Assistant at the Macquarie University, investigating "Darug traditional knowledge and connection to country". She taught Child Studies and Higher Educations at the Western Sydney Institute of TAFE, and undertook a Masters of Indigenous Education at the Macquarie University.
