BiographyHistory

J. Richard Wrigley is a Yorkshire-born Australian poet who has serially quit Shropshire, Merseyside and Edinburgh – where he trained as a registered nurse – and New Zealand, crossing the Tasman in 1993. He has now retired to write in Carlton, with a distant view, on clear days, of the Yarra Ranges. The Weekend Australian has, in the last nine years, published sixe of his poems. Other work of his has appeared in sundry Australasian publications. His first collection, Honeycomb & Diamonds, was published by Ginninderra Press in 2017. A second collection – provisionally named Spendthrift Sky – is currently nearing completion [as of 2023].
