'The article offers the author's insights on the early writers of the "Overland" literary journal. Topics discussed by the author include the legacy of writing of short stories, the four contemporary writers who were licensed to contribute a short story in response to a piece of fiction from their 60 years of archives, and the short story "'Samira Was a Terrorist," by Ali Alizadeh.'
