The identity of this Gordon Conrad is yet to be established. Given that the only known work attributed to him is the 'The Song of Songs" (inspired by Hollywood actress Elsie Ferguson who starred in the film of the same name) it is possible that he was the Gordon Conrad who worked as a manager for film exhibitor Senora Spencer in Newcastle (New South Wales) in the late-1910s.
