AbstractHistoryArchive Description

It is indeed a privilege to edit this volume of contemporary poetry exploring the literary ties between my own country Australia and a country I have a deep respect and love of - India. I chose the poets in this anthology from very different backgrounds and locations big cities, remote rural areas, forests, the coast - so as to give as broad a possible insight into the contemporary issues that confront individuals in both Australia and India at a personal grass roots level. Clearly in an anthology focusing on only eight poets there are many, many poets who could not be included because of size limitations. There will be more anthologies of this nature in the near future so committed published poets who would like to be considered for these future projects may contact me directly.
