The National Film and Sound Archive's Australian Radio Series (1930s - 1970s) finding aid indicates that Pathway of the Sun was produced as 52 x 15 minute episodes. However, a preview of the 1952 2UW premiere, published in the Sun (Sydney) newspaper, records that the series was to be broadcast for one hour over 13 weeks ('George Hart's Radio News.' 13 May 1953, p.20).
