BiographyHistory

Aisling Smith is a writer based in Melbourne. She completed a PhD in Literary Studies at Monash University, working on David Foster Wallace.

In 2020, she won the Richell Prize for the manuscript of a magical realist novel, Petrichor, which 'follows the character of a man called Benjamin and the disintegration of his family relationships through the eyes of the women in his life' (Guardian Australia).
