BiographyHistory

Ambrosius van Delden was a Dutch colonial resident of Java in 1866 when he undertook a journey from Java to Australia, and visited four Australian Colonies for six months. His journey took him through the Torres Strait and along the coast of Queensland to Brisbane, then to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
