BiographyHistory

John Jacob was from Adelaide. During World War I, he enlisted in the AIF and served as a private in the 50th Battalion, AIF. He was killed in action on 7 July, 1918, near Villers Bretonneux, in France. He was 22 years of age. Prior to enlisting he had completed two years of a Bachelor of Arts degree.
