Jenuarrie a Koinjmal woman and Artist, Decorative/design Artist, Potter and Printmaker had won awards and grants for her work and participated in both individual and group exhibitions. She was educated at the Frenchville State School, Rockhampton, and was first introduced to fine art when studying batik with Tom Vudrag. In 1986, Jenuarrie graduated from the Vocational Arts and Crafts Course for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders at the Cairns College of Technical and Further Education.
In 1987, she had won the Lilian Pederson Memorial Prize for drawing and printmaking held at the Queensland Art Gallery. Jenuarrie work had been represented in the Australian National Gallery and other state galleries, and in public and private collections.
