BiographyHistory

John Banim was an Irish novelist, short story writer, dramatist, poet and essayist. He collaborated with his brother Michael Banim to write stories under the pseudonym of 'The O'Hara Family'. Extracts from his works were published in nineteenth century Australian newspapers including the Commercial Journal and Advertiser.
