BiographyHistory

'Dr Alan Watchman was born in Adelaide, trained as a geologist and has worked as an international gold and metals explorer, academic researcher, rock art chronologist and lecturer. He published “Who Killed the Girls?” a cold case murder mystery under his pen name, Jane Bell. In 2000, he was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and was awarded the Centenary Medal for services to archaeology and the humanities.'
