Location: begins at Djalarr-main-bugbi. Other locations include Gudju-mandi. An editorial note describes the protagonist as 'a westerner, from Woralga in Wuningag-language country' (p.101), which is a dialect from the Alligator Rivers region near Oenpelli in the Northern Territory (per AustLang).
