AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'U.S. Army Lieutenant James Hooker is engulfed in the conflict on terror, desperately fighting for his life as his last mission turns to hell.

'Aussie Steve Owens sees the growing number of U.S. soldiers returning home with heart rending disabilities and decides to help. He sets up Safe Haven, a homestead for rehabilitation amongst the magic of Australia's Outback and Aboriginal people.

'Does Hooker, the battle scarred veteran, find solace in the majesty of the Outback and the mystery of it's ancient indigenous people? Do the Veterans overcome the challenges, with each other and locals, in their attempts to return to a semblence of normality?
