'Of Samoan, Tahitian, and European descent, born in Papeete and raised in Mā’ohi Nui, Samoa, Aotearoa and Kanaky, Temiti Lehartel is a first year cotutelle PhD candidate in Global Urban and Social Studies (RMIT) and in Literature (Paul Valéry University, Montpellier III). Currently working as a full-time senior school teacher in French Polynesia, Temiti holds the Agrégation and has co-edited the Ellipses textbook on Carpentaria for the 2022 Agrégation. Her research focuses on Indigenous Oceanian literature, Indigenous policy and rights, climate change responses, and relationality.' (Commonwealth Essays and Studies, 44.2)
